The Photography program has been designed to enable students to develop an understanding of the basic functions of a D-SLR camera together with post production techniques in Photoshop.
The main areas of photography covered include outdoor and indoor shoots, portraiture, landscape and action shots.
Compositional techniques are also explored such as rule of thirds, leading lines, focal point and framing.
Students research the history of the camera and its role in their everyday lives.
Assessment is based upon the performance standards that are associated with Australian Curriculum.
These are reported as A to E grades at the completion of the semesters study.
