The Photography program has been designed to further develop students understanding of the functions of a D-SLR camera and post production skills using Photoshop.
The main areas of photography covered include outdoor and indoor shoots, portraiture, landscape and action shots.
Students are reintroduced to compositional techniques such as rule of thirds, leading lines, focal point and framing.
Students use Photoshop to manipulate images and communicate ideas to an audience.
Students also learn to create visual algorithms.
Performance is assessed against the Australian Curriculum standard and reported with A to E grades at the completion of the semester.
