We provide an excellent learning program for students in agriculture. Our school farm is second to none of any country school. Our students experience both practical and theoretical aspects of agriculture from Year 8 through to Year 12.

Agriculture students learn skills in recording, observation and making decisions.  Year 8 and 9 students are involved in vegetable growing, laying fowls, chickens and calf rearing.   Year 10 students focus on sheep, viticulture, apples and insects.   Year 11 students gain skills in viticulture, wine making and beef cattle husbandry.   Our vineyard of Merlot and Chardonnay grapes is managed by these students gaining skills in pruning, fertilizing, netting, weeding and picking.   They are then taught how to convert the grapes into wine.   Year 12 Agriculture consists of either a 'general' or a 'restricted' course.

Year 10 to 12 Agriculture students are also involved in preparing steers for The Royal Adelaide Show.
