Bus Information

Travel is free on Department of Education (DECS) buses and on buses contracted to DECS. However, students must reside five or more kilometres from their designated 'school of right', to be eligible. Students can not use Oakbank School bus services if they are travelling past their school of right.

The school of right for primary students residing in Charleston, Woodside or Inverbrackie is Woodside Primary School. Students who reside at Harrogate may use the Oakbank School bus services as their school of right. The school of right for primary students residing in Lenswood, is Lenswood Primary School. The school of right for primary students residing in Lobethal, is Lobethal Primary School.

The school of right for secondary students residing at Lobethal is Birdwood High School, whilst the school of right for secondary students residing at Woodside, Charleston, Inverbrackie, Harrogate and Lenswood is Oakbank Area School, entitling them to use Oakbank School bus services. Some Harrogate students school of right maybe Mount Barker High.
