Junior School SRC ~ Student Voice ~ Class Enterprise Initiatives

The Junior School SRC has in the past encouraged student voice in the traditional manner with class meetings raising issues and class representatives putting these to a representative forum for discussion. In 2006, in an effort to encourage leadership opportunities to a wider cross section of students, we promoted Class Enterprise Initiatives. These have been undertaken by individual classes in conjunction with the SRC. This change of direction has required the class to take more responsibility and as a result have provided a more opportunities for all children in the Junior School to explore their own leadership potential.

Our SRC has as its three main focus areas The Environment, Helping Others, Our School & Community. These provide a basis for classes choosing their particular Enterprise Initiative.
