Harassment Poliy

Student Wellbeing

Harassment and Discrimination/School Discipline Policy:

Students have the right to an education and a school life that is free from harassment or discrimination.

Students who experience harassment or discrimination are having their happiness, emotional and physical health and their learning affected. It is important that students do not tolerate situations like these.

The advice given to students who are being bullied, harassed or discriminated against is to tell a teacher, parent or counsellor straight away. Students who help themselves in this way are helping others too.

Each classroom has a display showing students the steps they should follow if they are being teased, bullied or harassed in some other way and this information is also in the School Diary.

We have a comprehensive Student Behaviour Management Policy. A summary of this Policy is available for parents (and can be borrowed) from the School library.
